Pam has been teaching at the college level since 1984. Most of her experience has been at the University of Utah teaching Ecology for 15 years. In addition to instructing “Becoming an Online Learner” at Northern California University, she is currently teaching Art at Salt Lake Community College.
As an online student herself, Pam has first-hand knowledge and a special knack for introducing students to the online environment and maintaining student motivation. Pam has great empathy for students and is especially adept at explaining complex concepts to a layman audience. She practices this on the side by teaching “Basic Computer Skills for Seniors” through local community education classes.
Pam also serves as the NCalU Marketing Director, and is Co-Chair of the Advertising, Promotional Literature, and Student Recruitment Committee.
Her degrees are in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Online Learning, Adult Learning Styles, Marketing, Art Education, and Ecology.
