Through this course students will strengthen the effectiveness of their critical thinking and analysis skills, business writing and research skills, and presentation skills through individual and team exercises. Writing assignments as well as individual and group presentations will be required. Various methods of evaluation will be utilized, including feedback from peers. A primary focus will be on business report writing. Special topics of discussion will include principles of business etiquette, accepted business practices, writing e-mails, letters, and resumes. Course will cover a broad scope of topics in both oral and written communication. Students will learn student-friendly writing style with a strong design element.Real-world examples and real business applications are given in course, which underscores the relevance and importance to the students’ career.
