This course is designed to inform students about the role of business in the changing world as well as its effect on their personal lives. Through the use of video, key leaders in the industry relate their personal journeys, how they got to the top, and what it took to get there. This course highlights key human resource management issues at some of the top companies across the globe and some of the "up and comers". This course provides an introduction to small business by highlighting successful entrepreneurs and their endeavors. Students are introduced to the basic steps of building a business plan culminating by completing relevant plan-building exercises.
