Kiri Bermack has a Masters degree in Education from Pace University and a B.A. degree in Studio Art from Connecticut College. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society for Education.
Kiri has certificates from the New York State Education Department in the area of Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Programs for Career Development and Career Awareness.
With her professional licenses from the New York State Education Department in Visual Arts and C.T.E. Commercial Art, she is currently teaching graphic design, digital photography, and web design to high school students at Chelsea Vocational High School. Her experience as a curriculum writer enables her to write, teach and instruct curriculum for a Visual Arts Program and Career & Technical Education Program in Commercial Art. She has been an adjunct professor of Computer Science & Desktop Publishing at Touro College.
Kiri’s students’ work has been printed, and she has been listed as one of the senior art consultants in Davis Publications textbook “Communication through Graphic Design”, by Kevin Gatta and Claire Mowbray Golding.
Prior to teaching, she freelanced at ad agencies, design studios, web design firms, and publishing companies as a graphic designer and art director.
As a working fine artist, Kiri’s works of art have been selected by famous jurors at the Denise Bibro Fine Art, Washington Square East Gallery at New York University, and her works have been commissioned for corporate trade shows and events.
